Owner and CEO of Star Staffing, Lisa Licthy has been with the job placement service for 23 years.

In 2023, Star Staffing celebrated 25 years in business and this year the staffing and recruitment placement firm continues to shine after being voted Best Job Placement Service in the Best of the North Bay 2024 contest.

Founded in 1998, Star Staffing started out servicing the wine industry. Today the job placement service matches companies and employees in many other areas of work, ranging anywhere from accounting and finance to hospitality and events.

The company currently has seven business locations in California including Fairfield, Lodi, Modesto, Napa, Petaluma, Sacramento and Santa Rosa. Lisa Lichty, CEO and owner of Star Staffing, has been with the agency for 23 years—using her experience and insight to continuously shape the company into what it is today.

Being responsible for the overall management of company operations, strategy and business development, Lichty works closely with the leadership team to “ensure the functioning and prosperity of the organization.”

Listed on the Star Staffing website are the recruiting specialties they serve. These include—but are not limited to—accounting and finance, wine, events and hospitality, warehouse placement as well as office and administration.

Lichty expressed her excitement for Star’s recent growth into the Central Valley and what this means for the future of the company. “We’ve also been growing our executive search division and know that the expansion of niche services will help our clients continue to grow and thrive,” says Lichty.

Star Staffing seeks to grow with the employment demand by expansion within the company, broadening service offerings and investing in technology. “We experienced a record-breaking influx of applicants. This surge indicates a robust pool of individuals actively seeking employment,” says Lichty.
