Event Description

Mid-Century Modern Furniture (MCM) has been a design favorite for a number of years. During this presentation, you will learn more about how Mid-Century design came to be, as well as the designers and companies who were critical in its development. The presentation will cover both pre- and post-MCM developments from the 1940’s to today. This presentation includes over 60 slides.

Michael Wallace is a amateur woodworker and would-be historian. Michael has an MS degree from Drexel University and a lifeltime commitment to understanding things. A resident of Sebastopol for the last 18 years, Michael swears he was born in New Jersey but you can’t tell from his accent.

General admission applies. Museum members and children 12 & under are free.
