Join our museum director, Jeff Nathanson for a day of art in the East Bay. A visit to BAMPFA, lunch and a tour of Donna Brookman\\\\\\\'s studio.

Event Description

 Join museum director Jeff Nathanson for a day of art in the East Bay! First enjoy a visit to the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archives (BAMPFA) for a docent-led tour of their Way Bay 2 exhibit. Then eat lunch at Babette Café inside BAMPFA, and an afternoon in artist Donna Brookman’s studio (note: Brookman’s work is included in BAMPFA’s Way Bay 2 exhibit as well as Time & Place at MSC). MSC Executive Director, Jeff Nathanson, will offer his insights along the way. Price includes museum admission and lunch. Here’s the itinerary:

  • Meet at 10:45 at front door of BAMPFA for check-in
  • Tour with BAMPFA docent 
  • Lunch at Babette Café (lunch is included in the ticket price) at 12:30pm
  • Individuals drive to Donna Brookman’s Studio in Oakland
  • Enjoy a tour of Donna Brookman’s work and a discussion with the artist

You will need to provide your own transportation. Ticket price includes admission to BAMPFA, the docent-led tour, lunch, and Donna Brookman’s studio tour. (Please note that you will have to provide your own transportation.)
