Event Description

 Moderated by Press Democrat columnist Chris Smith, this panel with Executive Director Catherine Barnett, Managing Editor Ted Appel, Staff Reporter Martin Espinoza and Staff Photographer Kent Porter will discuss The Press Democrat’s coverage of the fires of October 2017, what they covered, what they wished they covered, and the decisions in the press room. The Press Democrat was awarded the Pulitzer Prize, the highest award in journalism, for its coverage of the wildfires.

Panel Discussion Sponsor receives 2 tickets and recognition in the Museum\\\'s marketing materials. Lecture sponsorships are fully tax-deductible. 

Doors open at 6:30pm, the PANEL DISCUSSION begins at 7:00pm.


Members are free; Non-Member tickets are $10 prepaid or $15 at the door. Preregistration ends at 5pm on the day of the program.
