Quattro Vino Train Expands to Four Journeys Beginning June 15

NAPA, Calif. (June 26, 2017) - The Napa Valley Wine Train, an engaging and memorable experience that echoes the glory days of train travel, is pleased to announce several new experiences including the expansion of its inaugural and most successful tour-to-date, Quattro Vino, which will now include four new tours – Legacy, Estate, Collective and a fourth tour to be announced soon – that offer an exciting culinary and wine adventure featuring stops at three of Napa Valley’s most renowned wineries aboard beautifully renovated 1915 Pullman railcars beginning Thursday, June 15.  In addition to its day-time experiences, the Napa Valley Wine Train will introduce all-new Twilight Private Tours that will allow guests to enjoy an evening train journey to Raymond Vineyards or Grgich Hills Estate.  Twilight Private Tours include gourmet appetizers and wine tastings onboard as well as dessert and coffee upon return and transportation to an exclusive evening dining experience at the iconic wineries, only open to guests of the Napa Valley Wine Train.  The new Twilight Private Tours are scheduled to launch on Saturday, July 22.

The inaugural Quattro Vino tour launched in June 2016, and was soon recognized by guests as the top unique wine experience in Napa and spring boarded the decision to craft an entire series of exclusive wine tours and epicurean food adventures.  Celebrating the best of what Napa has to offer, the four new Quattro Vino tours will begin with a sparkling wine tasting, followed by a four-course Napa Valley-style meal curated by the Napa Valley Wine Train’s Executive Chef Donald Young, and tastings at three of Napa’s iconic wineries on each tour.  After departing from the station at 10:15 a.m., guests will embark on an unforgettable six-hour, 36- mile round-trip journey from the historic town of Napa to the three premier wineries, arriving back at the train station at 4:15 p.m. ·      The Legacy Tour will include tastings and tours at Robert Mondavi, Charles Krug and V. The Napa Valley Wine Train’s all-new Twilight Private Tours will feature evening visits to wineries such as Raymond Vineyards and Grgich Hills Estate for a unique dining experience and wine tasting.  Passengers will depart the train station at 5:45 p.m. to enjoy a gourmet appetizer and a featured wine pouring aboard the train, then experience a decadent dinner at the winery paired with exquisite wines.  Dessert will be served on the return journey, with the train arriving back at the station at 10:15 p.m.  Tickets for the Twilight Private Tours start at $339 per person and will initially only be available on weekends, with availability dependent on other experiences.  For more information and reservations, please call (800) 427-4124 or visit
