FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MARY’S PIZZA SHACK ANNOUNCES 3-DAY FUNDRAISER FOR NORTH BAY FIRE RELIEF 19 Unit Restaurant Contributing 15% of Sales First Three Tuesdays in November 2017

Sonoma, CA – October 30, 2017– Mary’s Pizza Shack, the family-owned 19-unit casual dining Italian restaurant, announced today they are conducting a company wide fundraiser the first three Tuesdays in November to benefit North Bay Fire Relief.

As the North Bay Wildfires left a path of destruction in Sonoma, Napa and Solano Counties, Mary’s Pizza Shack announced their fundraiser to benefit the fire victims and relief efforts.

On Tuesdays 11/7, 11/14 and 11/21, 15% of the sales at all Mary’s Pizza Shack locations will be donated to the North Bay Fire Relief Fund at Redwood Credit Union.

“While it’s been heartbreaking to witness such wide spread devastation across so many of our communities, we knew we needed to do make a meaningful contribution towards helping people recover.’” Says Vince Albano, Mary’s Grandson and CEO of Mary’s Pizza Shack. “Our guests are an extension of our family.  I watched from a young age as my Nonny Mary always did what she could to give back. She established this philosophy from the beginning. We will continue to be there for our guests and the community during these unprecedented times”.

In addition to the three Tuesday fundraisers, beginning Wednesday 11/15, whenever a guest purchases a gift card for $50, Mary’s Pizza Shack will donate $5 to the North Bay Fire Relief Fund in addition to giving the purchaser a $10 gift card. This will run until the end of the holiday season on 12/31/17 to maximize donations.

To assist in the local food pantry needs, Mary’s will also have canned good barrels in each of its 11 Sonoma County stores supplied by Redwood Empire Food Bank throughout the rest of the year.
