San Rafael, January 26, 2018 - The Community Institute for Psychotherapy (CIP) in conjunction with the Marin County Office of Education (MCOE), will hold a daylong community conference, Raising Healthy Families: Building Connection, Compassion, and Community, on March 3, 2018. During the event, Bay Area experts will educate public and professionals on how parents can help their children form healthy relationships with themselves, family members, peers, and others.

Leading the way in support of CIP at the Steward Level is Reflections Treatment Facility, which provides clinical programs devoted to the rehabilitation of psychological dependency through multi-faceted treatment methods and individualized treatment facilities.

Sponsors at the Partnership level are First Federal Savings & Loan of San Rafael, San Rafael Elks/ Silvio Cheda Trust, Newport Academy and Union Bank. Other sponsors are Bank of Marin, Delfino Green & Green, Luther Burbank Savings, Mechanics Bank, Montecito Market Place Associates/Seagate Properties, Inc., The Muldavin Company, Inc., Sunny Hills Services, Wilson, Markle, Stuckey, Hardesty & Bott, LLP;  Westamerica Bank; and Wordsworth.

All proceeds from this fund raising event will go directly to fund mental health services for disadvantaged families and individuals. “We gratefully acknowledge our generous sponsors,” states CIP Executive and Clinical Director, Dr. Robin Joy Berenson. “Their participation raises awareness of CIP’s quality, low-fee services as well as crucial funds for our safety-net  programs.”

A Resource Exhibition will be open for attendees to browse throughout the day. There, Conference Sponsors and Conference Partners will offer information of interest to attendees about the work they do to serve the community.
