Green Valley's Rich Turner recently passed his California Professional Land Surveyor Exam
Sonoma
Press Release Description

Green Valley Consulting Engineers is pleased to announce that our in-house Land Surveyor, Rich Turner, passed the State of California Land Surveyor exam on his first try and is now a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.  Due to the difficulty of the exam, only 85 out of 367 people in California passed.  That means Rich was in the minority of all those that attempted the exam who did not fail – a mere 23%!  Even more of an accomplishment was that Rich passed on his first attempt – a rarity with this exam!  Rich’s success can be attributed not only to diligent hard work, but also to his vast and hands-on work experience in the field that helped prepare him for such a rigorous test of knowledge.

Rich joined the Green Valley team over 5 years ago as a Land Surveyor-in-Training and currently is in charge of survey operations for Green Valley.  His expertise includes topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking, as well as the preparation of legal documents and descriptions.  Rich is currently working on the Sonoma/Marin County SMART rail project, where he is responsible for providing surveying associated services for the proposed 14 train stations along the SMART corridor.

Green Valley Consulting Engineers is a Santa Rosa, California based civil engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture and construction management firm.
