|15th Annual Kendall-Jackson Heirloom Tomato Festival|
A celebration of all the wonderful tastes of Sonoma County
Kendall-Jackson Wine Center
Taste is at the forefront of everything we do at Kendall-Jackson, but we also believe in making food and wine a full sensory experience. And perhaps nothing illustrates this better than the incredible heirloom tomato.
At the Kendall-Jackson Heirloom Tomato Festival you can taste more than 170 varieties of heirloom tomatoes from our culinary gardens. But you'll also see a spectrum of vibrant colors on display, from deep purples to bright whites and everything in between. They really are organic works of art for you to see and savor.
Then there's the alluring aroma of a freshly cut tomato that was harvested moments earlier, and the sensations of texture and temperature when you finally take a bite. And that's just one varietal!
Just like wine grapes, heirloom tomatoes have a broad range of flavors, colors and aromatics depending on the varietal. Green tomatoes might offer citrus notes like Sauvignon Blanc, while darker tomatoes can deliver flavors of red fruits like Pinot Noir. And like wines, these tomatoes have certain foods that pair perfectly with their unique characteristics. Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of heirloom tomatoes!
Dozens of fine food purveyors will be on hand. Throughout the afternoon, festival attendees will vote for the festival's best tomato-inspired recipe.
Wine Club Membership also grants you access to our V.I.P. tent, where we'll pour some of our highest rated wines that will not be available elsewhere at the festival. Take advantage of this special Wine Club ticket price and your membership starts to pay for itself right away!
Prepare your taste buds for tomato inspired gourmet dishes and more than 170 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, artisan breads and cheeses, seminars on food and wine pairing, live music, and of course, extraordinary Kendall-Jackson wines.
It's going to be another wonderful afternoon in the garden, as we celebrate the freshest, most delicious tastes of summertime in spectacular California Wine Country.
