SANTA ROSA, Calif. — Aug. 22, 2011 — Sonoma Bank on Sept. 13 will present Aftershocks, Oil Shocks and the Long Goodbye, an economic forecast luncheon featuring renowned economist John Mitchell.
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel and Spa, 170 Railroad St., in Santa Rosa.
Mitchell, who writes Sonoma Bank’s and Sterling Savings Bank’s economic newsletter, earned a bachelor’s degree from Williams College and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Oregon. He has been making economic presentations on the nation and the region for more than 40 years.
