The Petaluma Animal Services Advisory Committee will be hosting the third annual Big Cat – Little Cat Afternoon at the pet-friendly Sheraton Sonoma County – Petaluma on Sunday, October 16, 2011, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. This electrifying event brings five ambassador wild cats from the Wild Cat Education & Conservation Fund to Petaluma, in support of the Animal Shelter’s goals to educate the public about the grace, intelligence, and dignity of the feline species, as well as increase adoptions of our cats and kittens to good homes. The Animal Shelter will also bring the new mobile adoption center, known as the “Cuddle Shuttle”, with cats and kittens available for adoption.
