Event Description

The "Wings Over Wine Country" Air Show is Northern California's premier Air Show giving you the unique opportunity of getting close enough to touch rare war birds, helicopters, cargo planes, authentically restored historic aircraft and every form of aeronautical masterpiece in our country's celebrated history. This year we were treated to a performance by the U.S. Navy F-18 Precision Demostration team and a seldom scene fly-by featuring the mysterious U-2 Dragon Lady high altitude reconnaissance aircraft. One of the last three flying P-38's in the U.S.dazzled the crowd along with the C-17 military transport giant that actually “backs up” on the runway after a short field landing. You had to see it...to believe it!
