San Francisco's most elegant outdoor party
Davies Symphony Hall
Event Description

The San Francisco Symphony's Black & White Ball is back on Saturday, June 2!  The signature Bay Area fundraiser begins with a special concert featuring Grammy Award-winning recording artist Paul Simon with the SF Symphony at 8 p.m. in Davies Symphony Hall.  San Francisco's most elegant outdoor party begins at 9 p.m. with 10 bands on 5 stages, featuring pop superstar Cyndi Lauper and cybersoul songstress Janelle Monáe leading a line-up that features live music spanning each decade since the Ball's 1956 inception.  Transforming the entire War Memorial Performing Arts Center area into one of the country's most elegant venues, the Ball features music, dancing, food, drinks and a rollicking midnight surprise for one ticket and only in San Francisco.  This legendary fundraiser supports the Symphony's vital and multifaceted music education programs, which provide inspirational connections to music and music making to over 75,000 Bay Area children each year.
