The San Rafael Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) chartered our group in June 2008, providing opportunities for leadership development, community involvement, personal development, professional development, and networking.  With our first community project, American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, we raised over $1,900 to help the fight against cancer.
The Jaycees are a dynamic group of young adults aged 18-40 who are making an impact in their communities though local, nonprofit, nonpartisan groups made up of tomorrow's leaders and today's up-and-coming young professionals.  The Junior Chamber International (JCI), is a worldwide federation of almost a quarter of a million young leaders and entrepreneurs located in more than 5,000 communities in over 100 nations throughout the world.
