Founded in Budapest in 1975, The Takács Quartet has been in residence at the University of Colorado Boulder for the past few decades. Their consummate artistry and exquisite, award-winning recordings place them in the top ranks of string quartets worldwide. In their Weill Hall debut, they perform works by Mozart and Dvorzák and are joined by special guests, Erika Eckert (viola) and Scott Pingel (bass).
