Junior League of Napa-Sonoma Announces its

Holiday Home Tour 2008 to Benefit Local Children

The Junior League of Napa-Sonoma (JLNS) is pleased to announce its 2008 Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, December 6 with a special Preview Night on Friday, December 5.  This year’s Home Tour will again be held in Santa Rosa’s quaint McDonald District. Each magnificent home will be cheerfully decorated for the season by local designers, with costumed carolers adding to the holiday ambiance.  Back on the tour by popular request is the home of Patrick Mutt and Ramon Espinosa, owners of Cokas-Diko.  Guests will be invited to stroll through the streets on foot or hop on a trolley while touring the homes and visiting with family and friends.  The hospitality site housed at nearby Santa Rosa Christian Church will offer an assortment of holiday treats and warm beverages to be enjoyed by those on the tour.  The site will also showcase an array of stunning Wreaths and table top Christmas Trees crafted by local artisans that will be available for sale.

The Junior League has partnered with the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens to host this year’s special Preview Night.   Guests to this gala event will have an opportunity to enjoy the ambiance of the winter evening by being transported by trolley and visiting the homes all aglow for the holidays.  Guests to the special Preview Night will also enjoy an array of festive appetizers and cocktails served by the costumed volunteers at the warmly adorned Luther Burbank Home and Gardens.

To enhance this fundraising event, local community sponsors have joined the Junior League to put together an exciting selection of prizes for this year’s raffle.  Prizes include dazzling diamond earrings donated by Earthworks, a thousand dollar gas card sponsored by O’Hagin’s INC, and an array of fragrance products presented by Macy’s.  Raffle tickets will be on sale at the Holiday Home Tour or can be purchased from any Junior League of Napa-Sonoma member.

“This is truly a festive way to celebrate our wonderful community during the holidays!” said Patti Bradley, JLNS President.  “It’s also a perfect way to for us to raise funds to support local children in need in Napa and Sonoma Counties.”   It’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Tickets for the Preview Night are $100 per person or $175 per couple and for the Home Tour are $55 per person. Only a limited number of tickets will be sold this year, and the event sold out very early last year.  For further information and/or to secure reservations, please visit the Junior League at, call (707) 545-5567 or e-mail
