Business Building Network (BBN), the Sonoma Valley chapter of Business Network International (BNI), an international networking organization specializing in business referrals among members, is celebrating its $1 million year in 2012 by hosting a one-time Visitor’s Day, open to prospective new members to learn about word-of-mouth advertising to increase business revenues on May 14th. BNI is the largest networking organization worldwide and currently has over 6,199 chapters with over 145,000 members in 50 states and 48 countries.
In 2012, members of BNI made over 7.1 million referrals, which generated over $3.3 billion in business for its members. It is a great way for businesses to experience growth by maximizing their marketing efforts through referrals. BBN encourages small business owners and self-employed professionals in Sonoma Valley to attend this complimentary network marketing continental breakfast at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14th. Visitors will learn more about growing their business through referral marketing and have a chance to network with 60+ Sonoma Valley businesses.
Mike Macedonio, Managing Partner of the Referral Institute and co-author of the New York Times’ bestselling book, “The World’s Best Known Marketing Secret, Building Your Business By Referral,” with Dr. Ivan Misner, will be sharing information about BNI and about why it is the number one referral organization. He will demonstrate how your business can increase by as much as 50% through “word-of-mouth” marketing.
This Visitor’s Day event will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, from 6:45 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. in Stone Hall at Vintage House, 264 First St. East, Sonoma.
