Celebrating 30 years of Russian River Valley Winegrowers, the 18th Annual Grape to Glass Pre-Harvest Party will be taking place on Saturday, August 17th from 4-9 p.m.
3575 Slusser Rd.
Event Description

The 18th Annual Grape to Glass Pre-Harvest Party is taking place this August in California's Russian RIver Valley. Put on annually by the Russian River Valley Winemakers, this year's theme is "Back to Our Roots," and is honoring the founding members of the Russian River Valley Winegrowers which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Grape to Glass draws many of appellation’s best winemakers together to enjoy, share and discuss their wines and enjoy local culinary specialties with their fans and followers in a gorgeous and intimate setting.

This year’s Grape to Glass is Saturday, August 17, on the beautiful grounds of Richard’s Grove & Saralee’s Vineyard (3575 Slusser Rd.) in Windsor, Calif.  The event kicks off at 4 p.m. and will bring together wine enthusiasts, winemakers, grape growers, chefs, hoteliers and artists for a summertime celebration of all things wine.  Guests will taste boutique wines grown in the Russian River Valley appellation (which has been growing grapes and producing wine for 130+ years) as well as some of the latest releases before they are made available to the public. From terroir to table, attendees have personal access to meet the winemakers, learn about the latest trends in the Russian River Valley wine region, taste the wines, enjoy an amazing BBQ and peruse the Farmer’s Market and art vendors on display, as well as bid on many spectacular items in the auction.  It’s a great event supporting the beautiful wines from the area and the people who make them.
