Explore the philosophy & principles of Native American land management
15390 Coleman Valley Rd, Occidental CA 95465
Event Description

Join us for an incredible weekend at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center as we explore how traditional ecological knowledge can restore our partnership with nature, and—interwoven with Permaculture—restore degraded landscapes to support an abundance of life. We’ll discuss the philosophy & principles of Native American land management and implement different management techniques on the wildlands at OAEC to enhance wild food, medicine, fiber, and timber plants and to improve the ecological quality of the land.
