Event Description

The Museum’s new summer storytelling and multicultural folktale series for children include music, instruments and fun. Features a small tour of the Museum and tales of characters that are unique, different and special to involve themes of SCM’s summer exhibition, Margins to Mainstream, Contemporary Artists with Disabilities. Children’s books will also be read to bring little imaginations to life. Free bookmarks and coloring activity afterwards. Program is geared for children ages 4-7, but all ages welcome.  Program is in support of the national Campaign for Grade Level reading to address summer learning loss.

Wednesdays at the Sonoma County Museum from July10th  to July 31st , 2013  from 11:00 am- 12 noon. Preschool and children’s classes welcome, please call Education Curator to make special reservations: Cynthia Conway: 707-579-1500 x 17. Program is by donation.
