Event Description

The sixth annual American Folk Art Festival 2013 will be held Saturday September 7 from 10am until 4pm, at the Madonna Estate winery in Napa Valley.  It is being called “a very original folk art show,” blending primitive American folk art antiques with the original creations of contemporary folk artists. The art works and antiques in this show will be one-of-a-kind.  In addition, to antiques and art, Madonna Estate will also be acknowledging, their 91st  Anniversary of growing grapes and making wine.  At the Festival, they will also release a vintage(2008) of HalloVine wine, with its one-of-a-kind folk artist designed label, by artist Andrea Matus deMeng.   It is a Cabernet Sauvignon, the perfect wine for the fall holidays and most especially Halloween.  Fine Tcho Chocolate will be paired with the tasting of HalloVine wine.  A selection of Madonna Estate’s many other varietals will also be available for tasting.  Food will be available for purchase from ABC Baking Company, or guests may bring their own basket and enjoy the picnic areas at the winery.  There will be a $10.00 admission donation to participate in the Festival.  In addition to tasting the wines and chocolate, you will receive a gift upon entry and a logo wine glass.  A portion of the donation will be given the to our non-profit event sponsor, Lucky Penny Productions Incorporated.  Lucky Penny is a Napa-based theatre company which presents professional quality theatre and musical entertainment in Napa Valley and the North Bay.  We will also be joined by Boca Farm, and guitarist Don Dubnow from Wine Country Entertainment.  Prepare to enjoy a true spectacle of antiques, art, and wine in the colorful Napa Valley on September 7, 2013.  We look forward to meeting you!
