Lindsay K. Elam, a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed, Inc., invites you to attend a series of Thursday night educational workshops where she will discuss topics ranging from basic investment tools to retirement planning. There is no charge for attending these workshops, and you are welcome to bring guests. Light refreshments will be provided.
Taking Control of Our Finances:  Thursday September 12, 2013
This first workshop focuses on helping women strengthen their financial futures. It covers getting one’s financial house in order, by maintaining good credit, insuring against the unexpected (such as disability and death), putting money to work by investing, and building a healthy nest egg for retirement. The seminar will also address Social Security benefits and provide specific information for women who face divorce or widowhood.
