Mahayana Refuge Day Course and Optional Vow Ceremony

March 22nd Refuge Day Course and Optional Vow Ceremony 12:30 - 3:30 pm Finding Refuge from the Storm 3:45 - 5 pm optional Mahayana Buddhist Refuge Vow Ceremony Donations: $40 for the day course March 23rd to 28th Refuge Retreat 7:45 - 9:00am; 11am - 12:15pm; 4 -5:15pm; 7:30 - 8:45pm It is not necessary to attend all of the sessions; drop in for any retreat session(s) you would like. Donations: $5 per session; $15 for the entire day Kelsang Wangpo, an American Buddhist Monk, will lead a Refuge Ceremony and Retreat. Before the Ceremony he will provide an explanation of Buddhist refuge during a special Day Course. The Day Course will include an explanation of the Three Jewels of Buddhism - Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha - and the concept of going for refuge to these Three Jewels. Following that, he will walk through the refuge vows themselves, explaining the vows and how to practice them in daily life. Optional Vow Ceremony follows the day course.
