Super Duper Alice Cooper
Event Description

Described as the first-ever "Doc Opera," and coming shortly after its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, this new film combines a dizzying blend of documentary, archival footage, animation and rock opera to cement forever the legend of Alice Cooper. It's the story of Vincent Furnier, preacher's son, who struck fear into the hearts of parents everywhere as Alice Cooper, the ultimate rock star of the bizarre. The unconventional story offers us the spectacle of Alice and Vincent battling for each other's souls, and alongside the hits that defined an era, the film excavates overlooked gems of Alice Cooper's oeuvre to provide a soundtrack of his life. Directors: Sam Dunn, Reginald Harkema, Scot McFadyen. 86 min. plus pre-recorded "welcome" and Q&A.

Fee: $11.00
