Event Description

Come and enjoy live music, wine and hors d'oeuvres as we celebrate the opening for Siberia: In the Eyes of Russian Photographers,exhibiting from June 8th through August 17th, 2014 at the Museum. 

This exhibition brings photographs of Siberia by Russian photographers to the American public for the first time. Photographs span over 130 years, beginning with the late 19th century and continuing to the present. They cover rural and urban scenes, native peoples, agriculture and industry, Russian frontier settlements, the Gulag, religion, and everyday life. 

The photographs are on loan from the Foundation for International Arts and Education.
