26th Annual Festival of Lights
On the Friday after Thanksgiving, the people and businesses of Yountville come together to transform their town into a magical winter wonderland nonetheless, with thousands of tiny (energy efficient) twinkling lights.

 While Yountville cannot promise a White Christmas, on the Friday after Thanksgiving, the people and businesses of Yountville come together to transform their town into a magical winter wonderland nonetheless, with thousands of tiny (energy efficient) twinkling lights.  

Celebrating its twenty-sixth year, Yountville’s Festival of Lights entices friends, families, neighbors and visitors to play hooky from the shopping mall and gather in the heart of one of the world’s most popular destinations for a feel-good family street party to kick off the holiday season.  

Carolers in costume saunter down Main Street, and everyone joins in a holiday sing-a-long There are photos with Santa and his elves, and other treats and activities just for kids 
Several bands lend their voices and music to the festivities
Yountville’s award-winning restaurants and Michelin-starred chefs offer tasty bites
More than two dozen wineries will pour

Beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Santa and friends set Yountville aglow with thousands of sparkling lights adorning trees and shops all along Yountville’s main street 
Romantic carriage rides clip-clop down glittering lanes 

There will be a special drawing at the event.  In addition to the promotions listed below, the retail stores will participate in a drawing.

The rules for the drawing are as follows:

  • For each $50 spent in a Yountville retail store, the guest will receive one drawing entry ( ie: $50 = 1 entry, $100 = 2 entries, etc)

  • The total can be a combination of stores.  This does not include any purchase made in a tasting room, hotel or restaurant. Retail stores ONLY.

  • The winner(s) will be chosen at random immediately following the town lighting ceremony.

  • Must be present to win

Important changes to the event:

We will not be selling tasting tickets at the event.  We will be selling a LIMITED number of tasting bracelets.
Every participant will need a Tasting Bracelet to taste food and beverages.  There are THREE packages, depending on AGE of the participant.  Please ensure you are purchasing the correct package.
