Music at the Redwood Café!

November 4 from 6-9pm presents Rock Overtime.  Mark Benanti performs with his "Rock Overtime" school of rock students. They rehearse for one month, then perform on the 1st Tuesday of every month here at Redwood Cafe in Cotati. These shows are always a lot of fun, come check out Mark and his students rocking out! Mark has taught music classes at the University of South Carolina, Converse College, Wofford College and Santa Rosa Junior College. He has recently self-published a book of guitar studies designed to help students improve their classical guitar technique. His diverse musical interests have led him to the study and performance of a wide-range of musical styles including classical, jazz, rock, blues, country, bluegrass and world music. Mark's classical guitar repertoire includes music from all of the Classical Music eras with considerable interest in Latin American Music.

November 6 have fun with Open-Mic in the Beer Garden from 7-10:30pm.  Sign ups at 6:30pm.

November 9 from 11am-2pm Singer / Guitarist Elizabeth Boaz performs

                      12 3-5pm Celtic Fiddle Music

                        6-10pm Irish Jam Session

(this lively genre happens every 2nd / 4th Sunday)

November 10 from 6:30-9:30pm “All Ages Family Friendly” Karaoke with DJ Dennis Anderson (Karaoke happens every 2nd / 4th Monday)

November 12 Sound Kitchen appears from 8-11pm

November 13 Open Mic  in the Beer Garden from 7-10:30pm.  Sign ups at 6:30pm.

November 16 features the fabulous Gold Coast Jazz Band from 4-7pm.

November 20  Open Mic in the Beer Garden from 7-10:30pm.  Sign ups at 6:30pm.

November 23 from 11am-2pm Singer / Guitarist Elizabeth Boaz performs

November 28  Open Mic in the Beer Garden from 7-10:30pm.  Sign ups at 6:30pm.

November 29 from 4-7pm Gold Coast Jazz Band appears


Music After Dark

An exciting Halloween Bash rounds out October with  Hot Grubb’s Country Rock & Texas Blues at 8:30-11pm.  Tickets $10.  Frightfully Irresistible Dance Music!  Costume Contest with Great Prizes!


November 1 from 8:30pm-midnight Maldito Tango Duo performs and with $10 cover

November 7 from 9pm-12am Bear’s Belly performs with $7 cover Bear's Belly is an original Folk Americana trio from Santa Rosa, CA. Members include Shawna Miller on vocals and keys, Joe Clopton on vocals and guitar and Zackary Miller on upright bass. Their signature sound revolves around the harmony vocals of Joe and Shawna, fluctuating from beautiful and hypnotic to gravelly and gritty. Bear's Belly's music breathes and takes on a life of its own in the warm, organic sound of this Sonoma County band.

November 8 from 8:30-11pm features Toulouse Engelhardt, 12- String acoustic guitar virtuoso with $8 cover

November 15 from 8:30-11pm features 7th Sons.  $5 cover.

November 21 at 7pm presents Live Music Lantern Shining a Light Kickoff Celebration with a special music presentation by the Pulsators at 9pm


November 22 from 8:30-11pm enjoy Five Roosters and a Hen with $10 cover

November 28 from 9-midnight features Reggae @ Redwood.    Every other month we present the best regional, national and international reggae bands in conjunction with Bagga Jo presents. Check our Music After Dark page (  to see who's playing this month. The 4th Friday of every other month. All ages, $ varies

November 29  from 9-midnight dance the tango to Redwood Tango Trio.  $10 cover.
