 Dr. Marilyn DeLaure, professor of communications studies at University of San Francisco, will speak about the fight over the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant and the activist group, Mother’s For Peace. 


Professor DeLaure teaches courses in rhetoric, criticism, and social movements and researches how people effect social change. She has published essays on dance, civil rights rhetoric, and environmental activism.
