Spend an afternoon with a master of plein air, Louisa King Fraser.
425 7th Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95401
Event Description

Spend an afternoon with a master of plein air, Louisa King Fraser. For decades Louisa has been painting and drawing landscapes, waterscapes, cityscapes, and human figures on location, working near her home in Sonoma County, as well as many other areas in the U.S., Europe, and elsewhere. She will discuss the ‘do’s and don’ts of plein air painting, including preparations, setting up, the painting process, and finishing up. She will demonstrate one of her methods of painting, followed by ‘hands-on’ acrylic or tempera or watercolor painting in the sculpture garden for all workshop participants. In case of rain, each class member may work indoors from a particular drawing in his-or-her sketchbook, or work from a still life display provided by Louisa.
Please register early for this class; space is limited
