Meals on Wheels Derby Day
Tickets go on sale for Meals on Wheels Derby Day March 2.
Event Description

The 16th Annual Meals on Wheels Derby Day will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at The Pavilion at Chalk Hill Estate, 10300 Chalk Hill Road, Healdsburg.
Each year the sellout event raises over $250,000 to benefit Council on Aging’s Meals on Wheels programs and support other important services provided by COA for seniors in the community.
The Meals on Wheels Derby Day, one of the most memorable charitable events in the North Bay, celebrates the traditions of the Kentucky Derby® –- Sonoma-style. Guests don their finest Derby-inspired hats, sundresses and seersucker suits to walk the catwalk and compete for prizes. A team of Sonoma County chefs prepare the four-course, southern-inspired gourmet luncheon served with award-winning Foley Family wines. Mistress of Ceremonies Susan Graf hosts the event that includes live and silent Auctions. The day culminates with the live running of the 141st  Kentucky Derby®.
