Event Description


The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) International Leadership Conference takes place in San Jose, CA, at the San Jose Marriott Downtown, on April 23 - 25, 2015. It is designed to help empower female tech and engineering pros to grow in their careers. The conference features presentations and panel discussions by inspiring speakers from Intel, Xerox, AMD, Cisco, VMware, and more, along with exhibits, networking opportunities and career fair. Conference sessions focus on innovation in technology and business, executive leadership, entrepreneurship and empowerment for women.

The event begins with pre-conference activities on Thursday, April 23, in San Francisco, including a Women in STEM Think Tank discussion at Square Headquarters and an opening reception at Yammer Headquarters. Interactive conference tracks that fuel innovation, facilitate knowledge-sharing, and foster discussion and collaboration follow on Friday and Saturday, April 24 - 25 at the San Jose Marriott Downtown. A free virtual conference track is also available online.

The WIE International Leadership Conference boasts such executive-level speakers as Brian Krzanich, CEO, Intel, who will address the impetus behind Intel's industry-leading, diversity in technology initiative, as well as:
