Event Description

Join us at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate for a family style, garden inspired dinner in the beautiful culinary gardens. The setting is absolutely stunning, and we promise an evening of incredible wine and food. And, if we're lucky, a spectacular California sunset to end the evening.

Our mission at the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate and Garden is to provide an immersive, educational experience that emphasizes the dynamic relationship between wine and food. We are farmers first, in the vineyard and in the garden, and our hospitality estate is an extension of Kendall-Jackson's farm to table philosophy.

The creative force behind the innovative wine and food program is led by Executive Chef, Justin Wangler, and his team. Justin creates pairings that are inspired by the flavor affinities between Kendall-Jackson's incredible range of wines and the seasonal, fresh garden produce from our Estate gardens as well as other locally-grown and raised foods.

The Kendall-Jackson gardens were designed in 1997 by renowned gardener, Jeff Dawson, to showcase the affinities between wine and food and to enhance our culinary program.  Our culinary gardens are planted on 3.5 acres and were recently revitalized by culinary gardener, Tucker Taylor. Tucker spent 5 years transforming the gardens at the French Laundry.  With Tucker on board at K-J, we can enjoy even higher quality, specialty produce that inspires more creativity in our kitchen.

In addition, we also have Sensory Gardens at the estate. The Sensory Gardens are divided into two sections - the Red Wine Sensory Garden and the White Wine Sensory Garden. Each section of the Red Wine Sensory Garden represents a red wine varietal or group of varietals, as does the White Wine Sensory Garden. Planting vary seasonally, but may include: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Zinfandel and Syrah Sangiovese and Italian Red Varietals to Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling.
