Veterans Housing & Services (VHS), a Marin-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused upon Northbay veterans' housing needs, will hold a POW/MIA Recognition Day buffet breakfast on Weds, Sept. 30 at Whistlestop's Jackson Cafe, 3rd & Tamalpais, San Rafael (94901). Breakfast at 7:30am, program from 8-8:30am. Free parking in Whistlestop’s lot, enter on Tamalpais. Proceeds benefit VHS (see  Tickets: $18-20. Register:
