Event Description

 In this presentation by Sonoma State University art history professor Michael Schwager, he will explore the legacy of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's monumental 1976 outdoor installation through drawings, prints, and mixed-media works from the Museums of Sonoma County's permanent collection.  In addition to focusing on Running Fence?, Prof. Schwager will discuss the artists' work in the larger context of Earth Art from the 1960s and 70s.
