The Drug Abuse Alternatives Center Announes their Annual Understanding Addiction Workshop, with 9 CEU Credits Available.

Presented by Thomas Freese, Ph.D., Director of Training, UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs. Co-PI/Director Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center (PSATTC). Also presenting is Beth Rutkowski, MPH, Associate Director of Training and Epidemiologist, UCLA. Learn the scope of the problem among adolescents, young adults and older adults as well as the extent of the problem regionally and nationally. Also, learn the impact his addiction has on the brain and vairious behavioral treatments for prescription drugs and alcoholism.
