Tricia George Bay Area Artist / Studio and Gallery
Event Description

Tricias work is very in tune to animals and their spirit. She paints birds and animals that she has had a connection with. She expresses there ability to to live within urban environments through the use of textural, many times metallic backgrounds implying the man made elements in which they dwell. Her backgrounds are far more contemporary than the subject that is usually painting in a more realist manner.

She also enjoys painting sort of snapshots of texture, whether it be metal, brick, wood, she is painting the elements from which we build.

She invites you to some to her studio to explore her work, watch her work on one of her current pieces and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Her medium is acrylic, though many times she is working with mixed media. Tricia enjoys the physical aspect of troweling on her backgrounds which many times are some form of plaster. Working in multiple layers in order to build up a visual texture.

Tricia also teaches on Thursday evenings a Lets Paint class where you can learn the medium hands on, receive assistance with your very own creations. It is an extremely relaxed atmosphere for people of all ages.

Fee: $0.00
