Petaluma Readers Theatre and the Petaluma Historical Museum present Truman Capote\\\'s A Christmas Memory & Dylan Thomas\\\' A Child\\\'s Christmas in Wales
A Petaluma Tradition!
Kick off your holiday season with Capote and Thomas.
Dylan Thomas\\\'s prose poem, A Child\\\'s Christmas in Wales, is a lush description of a Welsh Christmas. It is both a beautiful and poignant work. "Bring out the tall tales now that we told by the fire as the gaslight bubbled like a diver. . . ."
Then, enjoy this delightful interpretation of Truman Capote\\\'s early work. In his 1956 story, A Christmas Memory, Capote remembers when he was 10 years old and it was "fruitcake weather." His holiday rituals are painted with loving and nostalgic strokes, becoming a truly memorable experience for all ages.
Tickets $15 Museum members, $18 nonmembers.
Also, another chance to see the show is at the Petaluma Arts Center
Friday December 21 & Saturday December 22 @ 7:30pm
Tickets available through the Center.
Presented by Petaluma Readers Theatre.
