Classic Auto Show and Fundraiser
Marin,
Marin Center Fairgrounds
Event Description

Classic car lovers mark your calendars to come celebrate the art and history of the automobile! Having set the precedent as a world class show and successful fundraiser for Hospice By the Bay, the Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance returns for it’s second year to the Marin Center Fairgrounds on May 16th, 2010.  Porsche will be the featured marque for this year’s event.  The fairgrounds rolling lawn promises to beautifully showcase 200 exotic and rare vehicles in 18 different classes and the lagoon will host a special exhibit of classic wooden boats. The Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance will again combine the European and American models of car shows by evaluating individual classes on interior, exterior, engine and chassis, then select the Best in Show awards based on elegance and design. Please see this year's list of classes by visiting the Concours website <http://www.marinsonomaconcours.org/>.

While at the event, enjoy several other special exhibits including historic commercial vehicles from Bay Area such as the Good Humor Truck and Historic Hot Rods and Kustoms. There will also be a flyby at noon of old military planes. Check out cars for sale, exhibitors of exceptional automotive products and services plus live music, food, and car related art. This event is a benefit for Hospice By the Bay. For more information about this wonderful organization please visit: www.hospicebythebay.org.
