Climate Protection Campaign hosts Green Electricity & Proposition 16
Renata Brillinger, CPC, will describe Sonoma County efforts to green our electric supply and the impact of Prop 16, if passed.
Glaser Center, 547 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa
Event Description

The Climate Protection Campaign, the League of Women Voters Sonoma County,
and the Seventh Principle Working Group of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation
Santa Rosa invite the community to mingle with friends, network with new folks,
and learn about greening our electric supply and the impact of Prop. 16 @ this free event.
Proposition 16 will be on the June 2010 ballot. It is solely sponsored by PG&E,
and would enact a constitutional amendment requiring a two-thirds vote of any
community before spending public money to investigate or implement non-profit
power options such as municipalization or Community Choice Aggregation.

We invite attendees to bring something to share--finger food or something to drink such as wine, beer or juice.

Fee: $0.00
