Event Description

Here's another great community event brought to you by the Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce! Come mingle with your neighbors and local business owners in a fun outdoor venue.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 7th, for the 2010 Business and Community Fair, Live on the Plaza from 4pm to 7pm.

This free event will showcase local businesses and nonprofits while providing a social and networking opportunity for Sebastopol and Sonoma County residents. Local food and beverages will be included (of course!) and a contest called "Explore the Plazaâ" will offer fabulous prizes. Don't live in Sebastopol? Come to the Fair and discover what a lively community we have!

Here are some of the great features to expect:

- A Pomo Dance Group of young boys at 5:30 and a Pomo Art display.

- Master Gardeners to discuss Sudden Oak Death and answer your gardening questions.

- Sebastopol Ballet preview performance.

- Samplings of classes from the Community Center.

- A Universe Walk with the Earth Elders of Sonoma County.

- A raffle with a wide variety of great prizes.

- A blood drive with Blood Bank of the Redwoods.

- And, of course, an opportunity to meet and support your local businesses.
