Cancer Prevention, Survival & Nutritional Cooking Classes The Cancer Project Food for Life Nutrition Cooking Class Series in Windsor The Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series are designed to help cancer survivors take advantage of the healing power of foods.

Created by DR NEAL BARNARD, physicians, nutrition experts, and registered dietitians, each class includes information about how certain foods and nutrients work to promote or discourage cancer growth, along with cooking demonstrations of simple and healthy recipes that can be recreated easily at home. Do you know anyone who currently has Cancer or would be interested in a Cancer Prevention Nutrition Class? Please invite a friend or family member to join you to attend the series, It will a valuable course full of education, nutritional understanding and life changing information about food choices and cancer prevention & survival. 4 Class Course Series

When: Either December 14, 21, 28, & January 4 or December 15, 22, 29 and January 5 (choose the one that works for you) Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Class will be taught by Cancer Project Instructor Jenn Weiss . Jenn Weiss began teaching cooking classes after earning a degree in Culinary Arts at California Culinary Academy in 2008. During this time she went back to school for a Nutrition Education program at Bauman College. Since finishing the certificate program there she has continued to combine her knowledge of the Culinary Arts and Holistic Nutrition Education to educate the people around her so that they can improve their vitality, leading them to healthier and happier lives. There is a fee of $90 for the four-class series. You will get to sample - all of the delicious, healthy & yummy recipes: Easy Rich Chocolate Mousse, Roasted red pepper hummus, Creamy Coconut Vegetable curry, Calabacitas, Asian Fusion Salad, Low fat Guacamole with Quickie Quesada's, Lentil roasted tomatoes artichoke stew…and the recipe's go on.
