Guys Can Cook Too
Support Local and International Humanitarian Projects! Wine, Food, Celebrity Chefs, Amateur Chef Contest and Live Music at the Beautiful Shone Farm.
SRJC Dutton Agricultural Pavilion (Shone Farm) - 6
Event Description

The beautiful setting and stunning views from the Santa Rosa Junior College’s agricultural pavilion offer the perfect backdrop for the culinary delights at Guys Can Cook Too!   This venue is not normally open to the public so it is a rare chance to experience food and wine in the beauty and majesty of Sonoma’s West County while supporting local and international humanitarian projects.  Over the past 12 years, this event has raised over $250,000 going directly to these worthy projects.

This special evening joins amateur chefs, professional chefs, celebrity chefs and wineries for an abundant food and wine experience.   The amateur chefs choose a food category; it can be an appetizer, a soup or salad, a main course, or a dessert.   Celebrity chefs from top restaurants in Sonoma County judge the dishes.  One talented amateur chef will win $1000 before the night is over!

Weeks before the event, the professional chefs are partnered with a winery to pair the right dish with their vintner’s wine.  The results are inventive and delicious.  At each table, guests are offered a scrumptious small plate and a taste of wine that complements the flavor of the food.   No drink tickets are required.  The price of the ticket includes all food and wine tastings.

Guests may also participate in a silent and live auction with exciting trips, dinners, wine, and many other items up for bid.  Keep checking our web site for updates on auction items.
