Reasonable Financial Record Keeping
aka "Getting Your Financial Act Together"
Il lFornaio Rest. Corte Madera Town Center
Event Description
Whether you currently keep your financial records by means of Quicken, Quickbooks, Excel or a manual hand-written method (or alternatively using the old abacus method) come join us in learning how to get organized and maintain accurate financial record for your business.
·         Know what a business expense is and what is allowable according to the IRS.
·         Know how to avoid raising any “red flags” with the IRS.
·         Learn some simple accounting techniques even if you don’t have a head for numbers.
President Obama’s new tax law, which was signed in December 2010, has significantly increased the audit percentage for Form 1040-Schedule C tax preparers (sole proprietor business owners). Do you feel your record keeping skills are clean, clear and accurate? The ultimate question you should be asking yourself is this . . . “would my books stand up to a tax audit?” If your answer is “no”, then you want to mark your calendars now!
Fee: $15.00
