The Biological, Economic and Political Case Against Vaccination

There was a great polio epidemic in the United States in the 1920s. How did that go away without the polio vaccine?
The North Bay has long been a place of free thinking, certainly including issues of health and health care. With Marin and Sonoma counties having the highest vaccination noncompliance rates in California, we’ve become a battleground for powerful establishment medical forces.
During the last two generations, the “recommended” vaccination schedule for children, from 12 hours old to 18 years old, has gone from five to 69 shots. That’s about the same timeframe that serious diseases in children, some of which were virtually unknown, have become commonplace: autism, Type I diabetes, juvenile arthritis, Gullain Barre Syndrome, asthma, life-threatening allergies, learning disabilities and Crohn’s disease. The mass destruction of our children’s health is self-evident.
In the midst of the recent Disneyland measles outbreak, we were “instructed” by so-called authorities that measles is a deadly disease. As a child in the 1950s, I had measles. So did just about all of my friends and schoolmates. No one died. A person can be so sick that the slightest illness that comes along might kill them. By that standard, any disease could be considered “fatal.”
We’re told that if everyone got vaccinated (the disingenuous use of the term “herd immunity”), then disease would disappear and that would protect those “at risk” who can’t be vaccinated. The scientific reality is that infectious diseases have cycles. The proper use of the term “herd immunity” refers to a whole population getting, or getting exposed to, an actual disease, not a vaccination. There was a great polio epidemic in the United States in the 1920s. How did that go away without the polio vaccine? How did typhoid fever, or cholera, or rheumatic fever go away, for which there were never any vaccines?
There’s an assumption that whatever risk is inherent in vaccination, the risk of the disease is far greater; therefore, the risk of vaccination is justified. In the last 10 years, there were no deaths from measles, but there were 108 deaths due to the vaccine (VAERS database). What parents, in their right mind, if properly informed, would risk their child getting autism instead of measles, or Type I diabetes or leukemia instead of chicken pox? If there’s such minimal risk, why are vaccine manufacturers and pediatricians shielded from any liability by an act of Congress? How can any reasonably intelligent person believe the toxic substances that are in vaccines (aluminum, formaldehyde, mercury, latex rubber, MSG and so on) won’t severely impact the nervous, immune and other systems of a growing child? The levels of these toxins in vaccines far exceed the levels that would make drinking water unfit.
Pro-vaccination extremists continually profess the “autism-vaccination link has been debunked,” especially referring to Dr. Andrew Wakefield’s paper, published in the British Medical Journal. His detractors are on record as to not even reading his paper. His senior doctor, Dr. Walker, just won his appeal. Dr. Wakefield is now suing for defamation of character. Dr. Julie Geberding, former CDC chief, who now works for Merck as head of its vaccine division (hmmm), testified before Congress that there have been zero safety studies of mercury in vaccines. And she has admitted, on TV, that vaccines can cause autism in a “vulnerable subset of children.” Now that debunks all the hysterical cries of “vaccinations are safe,” doesn’t it? Mercury is the most toxic non-radioactive substance in existence.
What of the economic consequences? The scourge of many past infectious diseases is over because of improved sanitation and nutrition, not vaccinations. What will it cost in lifetime care, just for autism? Who will pay?
Parents who haven’t vaccinated their children are now afraid. People have even called for these parents to be jailed. Across the country, parents have been threatened by Child Protective Services for refusing vaccinations as well as other dangerous medical procedures.
Now, before the California legislature (currently in committee) is SB277, which destroys the personal belief exemption in California. There will be other calls, here and in other states, for no choice at all, because Big Pharma, Big Medicine and Big Government “know best.” If “They” can tell parents they have to get their children vaccinated, then “They” will be able to force adults to get their shots, prescribed medications and ordered surgeries. It will be the “Brave New Medical World.” As government moves to pay for what it ridiculously calls “health care,” it will control our health and, thus, destroy it.
Who made medicine the state religion, giving it the right to invade our bodies, and those of our children, at will? Thomas Jefferson wrote: “If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls of those who live under tyranny.”
