Poppy Bank Announces New Branch in Pleasanton, CA September 23, 2019, SANTA ROSA, CA – Poppy Bank is pleased to announce the grand opening of a new branch in Pleasanton, California. This full-service banking facility is conveniently located near the Stoneridge Shopping Center at 5870 Stoneridge Mall Road. Poppy Bank has named Steven Gill as Vice President and Branch Manager of this new location. “We are very excited to open a new Branch in Pleasanton as we continue our strategic initiative of opening branches in both Northern and Southern California. The city of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce have been extremely welcoming to us and we look forward to supporting the economic prosperity of this great community,” says Khalid Acheckzai, President & Chief Executive Officer of Poppy Bank. “Steven will do an excellent job serving the Tri-Valley community with his team of banking professionals.” Steven Gill has over 25 years of banking experience and has previously served as a Branch Manager for several financial institutions. He has an MBA in Marketing and currently volunteers with American Cancer Society, Knights of Columbus food banks, and multiple churches in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Gill has also volunteered as a Treasurer on the Willow Collection Board of Directors. The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce members, Poppy Bank Board of Directors and Executive Management joined Mr. Gill and his team for the branch’s grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 19.
