Net Impact Sonoma County launches local chapter to drive positive impact locally and globally.

Through inspiration, education, and connection, Net Impact Sonoma County empowers  local businesses and like-minded people to be a force for good in our community.

Santa Rosa, CA, January 14, 2020 - Net Impact Sonoma County is excited to announce the launch of their local chapter connecting sustainable professionals and like-minded individuals within the greater Sonoma County. With a goal of driving meaningful change within the workplace, community, and beyond, Net Impact offers a variety of monthly events that include panel discussions, workshops, networking activities, and stewardship projects focused on important social, environmental and economic issues. Net Impact Sonoma brings together current and aspiring leaders, local businesses, non-profits, and local government for a dynamic and inspiring exchange of ideas, meaningful connections, professional development, and an opportunity to share expertise in using business as a force for good. The Net Impact network is the largest of its kind – a diverse global community of over 400 chapters worldwide in 45+ countries, with over 100,000 members who aspire to be the most effective change agents they can be.

Net Impact Sonoma County Co-President, Jackie Winquist said, “Many people want to make a difference, but turning good intentions into tangible action can be hard. We provide the skills, experiences and connections they need to make a lasting social and environmental impact now and throughout their careers. We are excited to bring Net Impact to Sonoma County and look forward to accomplishing great things together.”

For those ready to kick start the New Year making a positive difference, Net Impact Sonoma is hosting a Launch Party Happy Hour on Wednesday, January 22nd at Bear Republic Brewing in Rohnert Park from 5:30 pm - 7:00pm. Please RSVP due to limited space at www.netimpactsonoma.org/events.
